Has anybody here ever flown alone with their infant twins?
My husband will be on tour next month (he's a musician), and I'd like to fly out with the boys to meet with him on one of his dates. We have flown a couple times with the boys, but always together--and each time we've had to sit in different rows because of the infant air masks only being one to a row.
Given I'm not psyched about putting a baby on a separate row, I can't figure out how to pull this off. I suppose I could sit with one baby in an aisle seat, and then buy the opposite aisle seat for the other baby and sit him there in his car seat...
Am I missing an option?
Re: Flying solo with infant twins? How?
If I were you, I'd try to buy one or two seats for the babies plus your own. You could have one baby in his car seat in the seat and one baby as a lap baby. To get around the airport, I'd wear one baby in an ergo and then use something like this for the other baby:

The biggest problem would be getting through security b/c you would need to carry both babies at once through the metal detector or rely on the kindness of others to help you get both babies through.
Also, I forgot to add....
You can take a stroller with you and have it gate checked with most airlines, and when you land they have the stroller waiting for you at the gate when you get out, though security is a pain as you have to remove the babies from the carseats and take them through the metal detector, the carseats usually have to go through the x-ray machine. And all bottles have to be out and visable just like any other liquid. But the people there are usually happy to help....
