Its not too bad but I like the traditional spelling of Katherine a lot more.

That's my moms name and I would have loved to use it if we were having a girl.  I think the spelling is fine, especially since it's after a relative.  That's the way we spell it in my family.

I have a cousin named Kathryn and she loves it. The only people she knows with the same name as her have different spellings (such as Catherine) so she loves having something a little unique.

Go for it!  DH's grandma was Catherine, so that's how we spell DD's name.

I love the name. Kathryn is my least favorite spelling--I prefer Catherine. But I like that it's a family name for you so I'd keep it Kathryn.
