Miller238:
Well, when I asked the question about what they will do if there is a reaction in flight to the woman I was talking to, she said, "Hmm, I don't know. But now I am so curious. Let me put you on hold and ask my supervisor."
I was on hold for 12 minutes and 28 seconds. I timed it.
She came back and said, "I PROMISE I didn't just leave and take a lunch. Hahaha. I was talking to my supervisor. She is a great woman, but wow, she can talk your head off. Anyway, this is what she said. They will not land a plane for a reaction. And if they feel there could be a reaction, they will deny you boarding."
So, I guess it came from a supervisor.
AYFKM?!
Re: Miller
I couldn't make this shiit up. Then after she tells me that, she dives into this story about how rude people on planes can be. And this one time, when she was on a flight, some guy wouldn't change his seat with this woman who wanted to sit next to her little boy. She went on and on and on like we were BFF.
I think you must have an invisible marquee on your forehead that says, "Kick Me" or something. You have had the $hittiest luck, this week in particular.
Twelve minutes and 28 seconds?!?!?!? What a load of horseshit..

I'm gonna jump in here and hate on Delta some more.
J- I can't believe you are going through that situation. Do they not realize how serious K's reaction could be? It's terrible that they are responding like that.
Yesterday, we had to buy plane tickets for a few things coming up. We always go through Delta since they have direct flights to the places we need to be. We are going to NY in early June, and bought those tickets first, but I guess something must have gone wrong because the transaction didn't go through. I realized today and called customer support just to be sure that they didn't have our reservation. Anyway, I went online to buy the EXACT same flight today and the price went from $258/ticket to $400/ticket!!!!!! I immediately called back and they said there's nothing they can do. I didn't even purchase the tickets because it's outrageous, and now I'm worried we won't be able to go. It's my sister-in-law's baby shower, so I really need to be there, but we can't pay that price. UGH!!!!!!! I hate delta!
Yea, but her supervisor is a talker, so...
And now I keep checking my email to see if daycare has responded. Nothing yet.
That is awful! They have one of the lowest (if not, the lowest) customer service ratings of all the airlines.
update, please. What did you write, and what did they say?
Well, it seems like they are at least trying to address your concerns. Glad that they are taking it all seriously.
I think it's more like they're saying that the teacher who was in there was not doing a good job of supervising kids that age, and they are changing the staff and giving miller their schedules.
Exactly. S and T are her two favorites for that age group.
Ah-ha!
