    *  any Mo Willems, particularly Edwina, Knuffle Bunny series and The Pigeon series
    *  Very Mixed Up Princess -- she likes playing with the pages
    *  Pinkalicious
    *  Fancy Nancy, although they can be hit or miss with her but great for vocabulary
    *  Little Critter books -- advantage of being small (thin) and cheap
    *  Go Dog Go
    *  Dr. Seuss books
    *  Cloudette (recent gift from MIL)

    My 4 year old loves all the books by Sandra Boynton, Dr. Seuss, Little Critter books and the Sandra Numeroff books ("if you take a mouse to school", "if you give a pig a party", etc.)
