Getting ready for my last appt!!!

Well, hopefully!

At 41 weeks, I am going to beg and plead for an induction! Hopefully they'll do it today or tomorrow. I never thought I'd want to go through with it, but here I am, desperately overdue and miserable!

Baby is measuring 8 lbs 11 oz. and I don't think I want to risk her getting much bigger! I haven't had any contractions, just a little cramping here and there, I have zero hope that I will go into labor on my own.

And, I just locked my keys in my car! It's been quite a day. I'm hoping it only gets better from here!

Hang in there mama! I totally understand your frustration and impatience. I will be having an induction in about 5 days if LO doesn't come on her own before then.

There are plenty of inductions that move smoothly and quickly, and I've read a few of them on the Birth Stories board. So good luck with your decision and just know that you get to meet your LO really soon either way!

Aw! I'm still torn on what to do... keep waiting her out until 42 weeks, or ask for induction at my appt tomorrow. I've had the same as you, cramping to the point of what I think must be contractions, but it never sticks. If I'm not going to go into labor then I may as well be induced tomorrow, but if one more day was all she needs I should wait! It's impossible to know!! I'd almost rather the doc decide so I don't have to!
