Holy crazy-a storms!

I woke up at midnight last night to CONSTANT lightning and thunder (I mean CONSTANT- I tried to do the "count the time between and figure out how far away the storm is" thing and I only got to 1!). Noah's school is closed (no power) and we're on a two hour delay- AND today is a standardized testing day. Oh joy.
Anyone else have these crazy storms or is it just SC folk?
