Sorry if this sounds complicated or if I sound like an idiot. But...I don't know how early I can test for a pregnancy. (I haven't had a period in 1.5 years.)
My first pregnancy (twins are 11 months old) was from IVF that took us 2 years to accomplish. So, I've never needed to pee on a stick. We got pregnant and my twins are almost 1 year old. I still nurse them but am in the process of weaning. I haven't had a period yet since I gave birth to them. However, DH and I had a *great* mother's day and I am paranoid we conceived. (I don't mean to sound ungrateful...it's just that we had a very hard pregnancy and if I get PG again, it will be an uphill battle from the start.)
Anyway, since I haven't had a period in over a year, but in my deepest of hearts believe I was ovulating on Mother's Day, then how early/soon can I pee on a stick?
TIA
Re: How early can I test for pregnancy? I haven't had a period b/c of BF
Your story is similar to mine - I hadn't had AF since DS was born, and I weaned my DD. I thought I was Oing and my DH and I didn't use any protection since we had TTTC. I tested 2 weeks later and got a BFP.
I think the earliest you can see a + is about 10dpo, but that may even be too early. Good luck!
We had TTTC and had 3 IUIs to get preggers with DD. On my first cycle after giving birth we got KU. We are thrilled and wanted our children close together. My advice is POAS 14 days after Mothers day. And if you get a BFN and still do not want to get pregnant anytime soon, then start using protection cuz you never know... Good luck!
