Cloth Diapering

If you've ordered custom or knit your own shorties/longies...

What size was it, and how much yarn did you need?

Where did you buy your wool yarn?

Re: If you've ordered custom or knit your own shorties/longies...

  • I bought some wool at joanns. They don't have a huge selection but it goes on sale a lot. I still haven't gotten around to making anything with it yet, but my plan is to make some shorties in a small size with a drawstring waist so that they will be adjustable enough to fit for a while.
  • I either look online for Wool or search the local stores.

  • I've knit several sizes. I used however much yarn the pattern called for. Usually no more than a couple of skeins.

I've bought my wool anywhere from a boutique store to a big box store
