Thanks for asking! I forgot to update. She is good. It ended up being a bad kidney infection. The pneumonia early in March was misdiagnosed. We saw the head of infectious disease after the month long string of fevers in the 107 range, countless clean bloodwork, etc. He drew one more round of blood that we thought would be ok, but they admitted her the next day. She had a CT scan & they found it. They also found a defect in her kidney...dual collection system & a grade 3 reflux problem. She had a VCUG test on Friday where they gave her a cath & filled it with dye under the scanner. Not fun, but they did confirm everything. Right now, they are going to put her on 6 months of a long term antibiotic & they we will re-evaluate. She might have to have a procedure done to fix it in the future, but for now she is ok. At least it is nothing life threatening! It could have been so much worse.
