Mine is beyond obsessed. However, I will cut him a little slack due to the fact that because it's rained so freaking much in the last month, he has to mow more often than usual or else we will have a jungle out there. He has mowed 2-3x a week since the beginning of April!
Would you consider obsessed to be someone who buys a striping kit for his zero turn mower? Who then obsesses about getting his stripes perfectly straight? Who then takes pictures of said lines? Then yes, DH is obsessed with his lawn:-)
I know my DH secretly loves mowing the lawn-- it drives me nuts b/c the whole process (mowing, weed wacking and blowing the trimmings) takes almost 2 hours--- drives me NUTS!
My Mom had a neighbor in her subdivision that literally cut the grass every night. I think he had a crazy wife and sought refuge amongst the blades of grass.

THIS IS MY NEIGHBOR!!
He also will do something like if you mow you lawn at noon on Sat he is right out there mowing his at 3 - no matter if he already had mowed it at 9 in the morning!

If he is that obsessed, he could get his "fix" on our lawn. Which honestly, needs serious help. We have a tractor, a lawn mower, and other various tools. That being said, dh doesn't have time and our lawn needs some serious TLC.

My H used to work at a golf course and is obsessed with his stripes. I just don't get it.
I'm the obsessed one in our house. I will say, that if you don't keep up with it, you have to do it twice - once with the mower set higher and then again set a bit lower - otherwise you end up with some hacked up looking grass. With all this rain, it's been ridiculous how much mowing has needed done. I mow, weed whack, hedge trim - pretty much everything lawn related except purchase & haul mulch, though I do spread it. I got bigger projects for my H to handle.

He'd love to. Honestly, he'd love it if you hired him to be your lawn boy. HA!
My husband is obsessed with our lawn, but too allergic to deal with it. So he gives the lawn guy a phone call every couple days. I'm surprised the guy hasn't quit. Bet he charges us more than other people.

Kristin... your lawn always looks amazing! not just cut well, but beautifully green and healthy!!
I WISH my husband was obsessed... instead it's a struggle of me constantly nagging him to cut it... and to use the freakin' edger/trimmer too so it doesn't look like crap!
Send an obsessive husband over. Our yard is a mess from the sewer line work and my husband has a herniated disc in his back. I am glad it has gotten done once. It was KNEE high in the back yard.. for a 6'3" man, not a toddler's knees.
I'm the obsessed on. DH isn't allowed to mow it because he doesn't use the line trimmer, edger and sweep the walks a drive afterward...I wish I weren't so ridic..but I am :P

Waiting since 07/5/2011 for our forever child! Yep we are adopting!

... if he's interested, send me a FBM. Seriously, our yard is awful, and DH hates it because his allergies are horrid.
I'm the obsessed one here! I've gotten "yelled" at recently because I went out and cut it twice. I couldn't take it anymore. Quinton then was asking if any of the neighbors saw me, because he was afraid they'd think he was a lazy you know what since I was out there cutting it at 6 1/2 months pregnant! He knows now that he has to cut it often or I will end up doing it!

My husband is a total freak about our yard. I made the mistake of trying to help one day and cut our backyard. DH proceeded to tell me where I missed and how I didn't cut it right.
From now on I know not to mess with our yard, I leave it to him.
Got another obsessed husband here! He loves his yard, definitely takes pride in it that's for sure! Last night we even went out and looked at his new grass! Seriously every night we have to go out and look at the patches he's re-seeded to see the progress. I think it's kind of cute that he's so excited about it. Plus our yard looks AWSOME! haha

I am so grateful DH isn't like this, but our next door neighbor is. He cuts it pretty much every other day, making ours look like a jungle next to his.
OMG, H is totally obsessed. He even goes out before we go to work (which is early, like dark outside early) to seed and fertilize. He has a handheld tool that helps him get any weeds out--BY HAND--by the roots. Its crazy. I don't spend a lot of "quality time" with him during the Spring...

Mine isn't totally obsessed, but he does like it mowed more often than I do. That being said, I usually am the one to mow since I haven't been able to find a job. But he has to do the weed wacker and all that crap because I won't do all that LOL
It does get me some exercise too, I like that part. I can burn anywhere between 800 & 1000 calories just pushing a mower.

DH LOVES mowing the lawn... I say, go for it! Is it bad to admit that I honestly do not know HOW to mow a lawn, since my brothers always did it when we were growing up??!
I think it's cute that he is so gung-ho about keeping the lawn looking nice. It's good for us actually, because our house is on the market, and we're trying to keep both outside and (gulp) inside looking clean and tidy for showings.
YES. Our neighbors have perfect lawns thanks to science, but DH is convinced he can conquer the dandelions without tons of chemicals. Also, any time our neighbors cut their grass, he has to follow suit, whether it needs it or not.

Are they brothers from another mother? For realz. Ridic.
Cutting the lawn is one of the few "chore" my DS has... and he pays the teenage neighbor to do it for him.
