RE rec's, please

Hey Ladies,

I usually post over on theNest, but I thought I would come over here for some help.  I am currently seeing an RE, but not super impressed with him.  I am considering consulting with someone new, but would love some recommendations so I am not picking one at random.  I would prefer someone on the East side or centrally located, but it's not necessary. Thanks in advance.

  • I have NO complaints at all about the Institute for Reproductive Health. They are located in Rookwood so very central. I live off the Beechmont exit and it takes about 20-25 minutes to get there. Everyone is very friendly, they are extremely helpful with any questions or concerns I have ever had and I LOVE that they are ALWAYS on time with appointments!

They have been successful for me twice. I know there are lots of other ladies on this board who have also had success with them as well.

  • ditto on the recommendation for IRH.  They gave us success... the only thing I will add is that it is helpful if you are proactive in asking a lot of questions.  My doc, while great, didn't always offer up all the little details unless I specifically asked.

  • I have seen Dr. Chin and Dr. Scheiber.  I like them both.  We didn't get pregnant with Dr. Chin, but did have success doing IVF with Scheiber.

Thank you so much!  I will look into IRH, Dr. Chin and Dr. Scheiber.

  • I saw (and had success) with Dr. Chin.  I don't have a bad thing to say about him. I work with him for some of his fertility testing, so I saw him "behind the scenes" before I became a patient and it just reassured me how good of a Dr. he is.  He doesn't do IVF though so if already know that that is a path you will need to go down, then he won't be your best choice.  He just or very soon will be moving his office to West Chester.
