I have had mine re colored within 2 days. My natural color is some shade of brown...I really can't remember at this point...but it just doesn't match my skin tone at all. I need blonde, or I look dead.
I like it! If you're used to it being lighter, maybe you could go back to your stylist and have highlights put in. She (or he) should be able to work with you so you can find a color you like without doing any damage.

I like it & I think what would help make it look more natural is if you darken your eyebrows to match. You could try it first with a pencil, if it makes a difference to you, you can go to any salon & ask them to dye your brows to match.
I'm naturally blonde, went dark for awhile & HAD to do this to help frame my face. HTH!
I'm not sure how long you have to wait, but fwiw I like the brown. I think you look good as a blonde too though. I'd go ahead and call the salon to tell them you hate it and ask how long before you can have it redone. Hopefully you won't have to pay for it. I understand hating your hair though...I love my color but I hate my new cut. It's really cute but too high maintenance for me.
yep, you are a blonde...the brunette is cute, but definately not you...blonde is way better! (sorry, I'm being honest.) Highlights will help...but I'm sure you can get it done fairly soon. I **tried** the brunette thing and the next day got it back to blonde. The salon did some extra treatments so my hair wouldn't fry.

Ditto DandR. I'm hesitant to say anything because I'm not really helping you feel better but just seeing that first pic of your new hair, not knowing you at all and never having seen a pic of you with blond hair, something just didn't seem right. It's not you, IMO. And I'm a brunette and not someone who typically tells people to go blond.
Sorry. It's not that it looks terrible, it just doesn't fit you.

I tried something similar like this earlier this year. It was awful and the blonde highlights looked grey. I went back to my stylist and was back to my original color in 5 days. Sorry it didn't work out for you either.
If you aren't happy, I would go back right away and cry and have them fix it ASAP. They will be more likely to work with you if you speak up to the manager rather than wait. And I agree, filling in your brows a bit will help make the contrast less dramatic, even if you do some highlights.
You're still cute, don't be sad! It's ok not to like your hair.
I think it will take forever to grow it out so if you go to a salon, they should be able to do a color correct and get it back to what you had before(or at least closer).
Re: PIP I hate my new haircolor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How long do I have to wait to go back blonde, without totally frying it?
I think it looks pretty.
Maybe give it a couple of days and see if it grows on you?

Ditto. I like you as a blond, for sure.
Me with my littlest.

Not to make you feel any worse, but I definitely agree with the others that you are better as a blonde.
I would call the salon and talk to them.... they should work with you.
