Acid Reflux?

I know this has been discussed a million times but please share your LOs symptoms of refulx with me.  My LO has been diagnosed with colic but I keep feeling like there is more to his symptoms.  TIA

My DS would be...

•  fussy through an entire feeding
• cry when I tried to burp him
•  arch his neck and head back and his face would turn beat red
•  vomit
• cry after a feeding and could not console him at all
• sleep for only 4 hours a day because of the reflux pain

If you think it is reflux, be firm with your ped. You are his/her #1 advocate!

Thank you for the response.  He has all of these symptoms but it only happens 1 or 2x a week.  You are exactly right about being his #1 Advocate.  I said the same thing to DH when I was concerned about colic.  Hope your LO is feeling better.

My son was diagnosed with AR and he had all these symptoms, plus getting hiccups all the time and spitting up. We were given Zantac and it has been a lifesaver! He is definitely a different baby and much happier during feedings. He still spits up but is not in pain and inconsolable like before. HTH
