We had the level 2 ultrasound today and the doctor spoke with us
afterwards. He said the risk popped up in my blood work, not the nt
measurements. He said with the blood work, there would be a 1% chance
of downs. Taking into account the measurements taken today, the risk
drops to .3%. He said that we could do an amnio if we wanted to be get
absolute confirmation, but DH and I decided that we didn't want to take
that risk. They did not see any markers for downs in either of the
babies and will do a full ultrasound again at 20 weeks so we will
revisit the topic then if necessary. All in all, I'm breathing a sigh of
relief. Thank you for all of your responses yesterday.

I'm sorry, I really need to add a ticker! I'm almost 17 weeks.
Cool! I was just shocked if you just had your NT that they would look. My MFM was like it's too early for gender. I was like damn! I was looking for penis's but didn't see any!
Very nice...Congrats!
So glad to hear this. Congrats on the two boys.
I have a daughter and will also be having 2 boys this summer
