Joovy Ultralight Caboose

Anyone have this sit and stand?

Likes/disklikes?  Pros/cons?

Seems like a great option for outings like the mall, zoo, amusement parks, etc. since it's relatively compact and lightweight.  We also want a BOB duallie for running and trails, but it just doesn't seem practical to haul around in the car and in stores, elevators, etc.

Any feedback appreciated!  TIA!

Re: Joovy Ultralight Caboose

  • I bought one but ended up selling it right away. My kids are 23 months apart and I realized that I wanted my toddler to be comfortable in the double stroller. When the infant seat is in, the older kid hardly has any room to sit. It would be fine for quick trips to the mall, etc. We go to the zoo a lot and for walks so I wanted the toddler to have a real seat where she could relax and maybe even nap if she needed. I bought a City Mini double and LOVE it.

The ultralight joovy was really easy to use though, easy to push/steer so if you for sure want a sit and stand I think it's a good one (the best one).

Well, we're really not sure- that's the thing, LOL.

I suppose we could use the BOB Duallie for longer walks and trips where DS would need a comfy spot...just also looking for something smaller and more convenient since the BOB is ginormous.  My toddler also doesn't enjoy being confined to the stroller very much anymore so I thought the sit and stand might be a good option.

  • Hi,

The Joovy Caboose Ultralight gets top ratings on the website www.stroller-advisor.com. They have the lists of the best strollers of 2011.

    Good luck!

  • Yea if your 2 y/o doesn't really like the stroller that's something to consider to. Just today we went to the zoo, and my 3 1/2 pops in and out of the city mini so it still works well for us. If you have a double Bob then I think the sit and stand would work well for more everyday use. Plus when you're not using the infant seat anymore it will be more comfy for the 2 y/o too. I think.. I'm not sure how big the seats are really, but it sounds like a good option for you. GL!
