2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
I also forgot to ask the question when I had my miscarriage. I waited until the bleeding stopped. That ended up to be about 4 weeks. And I still have spotting, but we're having sex.
The doctor said two weeks. But we are stupid and started like two days before the two weeks was up.
My doctor also said that it would be physically safe to have sex two weeks after, but no one but me had to know that. If you have the kind of husband that isn't sensitive to your emotional needs (I hope you don't, but I know how husbands can be), then you can tell him whatever the hell you want to keep him from guilting you into having sex you are not ready for. Some people just don't feel emotionally ready for a long time after, and that is perfectly normal.

We waited 2 1/2 weeks. I stopped bleeding/spotting just shy of 2 weeks. I must say, I was scared I would be uncomfortable physically or emotionally, but no pain and emotionally it helped me move on a bit.

Thanks ladies. My doctor said that we could at any time (I just started bleeding on Thursday, but today an u/s confirmed that my uterus is empty and an exam confirmed that my cervix is closed). But I will wait to feel comfortable.

The doctor didn't really give me a time frame. I had stopped bleeding the day we got married(friday), so we had sex the day after that(saturday). By Sunday it seemed like I hadn't quit bleeding at all. From there we waited about two more weeks after that. Just make sure you are emotionally ready.
My doctor said to wait until the bleeding stopped (natural m/c). I bled for about 9 days and we had sex on day 10. I had been on pelvic rest for almost 3 weeks before the m/c too. I felt ready emotionally but I have to admit, I cried during it. I don't really regret it though. I think I would have cried no matter how long we waited.

My doctor said to wait a week after my D&C. This will sound totally psycho but I actually cried afterwards, I was happy that my DH could still see me as desirable, not some broken woman.
my doctor said 3 weeks. it has been over 5 and I still dont want sex or want to be sexual. Just not feeling it
