Bleeding and fissure

We had a big scare this am...I got a fissure on my right side over a week ago. I used APNO and thought it was good and healed since it didn't hurt anymore. Last night DS nursed on that side and we noticed bloody milk on his shirt. We knew it was from me. We checked him just in case but no biggie. He nursed that side this am and was all good. We were playing after I burped him and then suddenly red clots started coming from his mouth! Looked worse than it was but all over his sleeper and face. He was just smiling and laughing. So scary. I have appt with LC tom to have it checked...obviously that's the issue but odd this is starting since it feels better!! I sure hope I can continue to nurse since I go back to work Thurs and want to nurse as much as I can!!

I've been dealing with two healing fissures, and about 3 weeks ago when the pain subsided and I thought I was well on my way to being healed I started bleeding as well - maybe it's a part of the normal healing process for them? I continued to nurse through it though, and it stopped pretty quickly.
