When did dc hit 40 lbs?

Just curious- at roughly what age did your dc hit 40 lbs? Just trying to get a rough idea of what's "average."

Sometime between 3 & 4.  He's around 43lbs right now.  He's tall, too - around 43-44 inches at his 4 year appointment, IIRC.

At his last doctor visit at 4 1/4 he was 45.5 inches tall and 42 lbs.

Not long after he turned 3; DS #1 is a big kid though and has always been off the charts for height and weight.

My 5.5yo weighs about 38lbs so he will probably be 40 before he hits 6, my just turned 4yo weighs about 36lbs so he'll probably be pushing 40 by the time he's 5.

The 'average' for 40 lbs is about age 4.5.

My DD is almost 6 and has been hovering around 35 lbs for about a year. DS is 3.5 and about 30 lbs. They're both really skinny for their ages.

DD is 4.5 and just about 40 lbs.  She's also 44" tall.

ETA: I'm surprised that DD weighs as much as she does.  She's skinny, skinny.  We usually have to use the adjustable waistband even in slim pants.

DS was 40 lbs at about 3.5.  DD is almost 4 and is about 36 lbs.

DD is 38 lbs so in the next few months maybe?  She turned 4 in November and is 43 inches tall.

dd is 5 1/2 and 36- 37lb.  she was 42" at her physical this winter... but she's had a growth spurt.  and has outgrown some pants.  so not sure how tall she is now.  but on our home scale she's still 36 or 37lb depending on the day

it may be awhile before we see 40lb.

I don't remember exactly for DS#1, but he's always been a big kid, so well before 4y/o I'm sure. DD is 4.5 y/o and 39lbs and DS#2 is 3y/o and 29lbs.

She was 41 lbs. at her 5 year appointment (she was 36 at her 4 year appointment), so just before she turned 5, I guess.

Not yet. She turned 4 in March and is just about 33 pounds (I think, she's going to the doctor tomorrow). She's pretty tall, though. I think between 42 and 43 inches. She had a growth spurt this winter. My guess is she'll hit it somewhere closer to 6.

DD turned 4 in March. She weighs 27 lbs. I'm guessing she'll be in elementary before she hits 40 lbs. She's average height - just super skinny.

DD1--sometime before she turned 4.  She was, I think, 41 lbs at her 4 year appt.  And I think 43 lbs at her 5 year appt.

Right before he turned 5, I think.  DS2 only weighs 30 pounds at 3.5, so it will be a while for him.

DS1 was about 4.5. He was 41lb at his 5 year well visit. DS2 was 37 at his 3 year, so I'm guessing he'll be 40 by his 4 year next winter, probably even sooner than that.

My DD weighs 26 lbs on a good day. She will never see 40lbs at this rate. My almost 9 month old is catching up to her.

My guy is also quite small, 4 1/2 and 34 pounds but he is also quite short.

Matthew was 3.5.  Jon is around 38 pounds right now.  Both Jon and Matthew are 5.  Chris hit 40 last month; he's 3.5.
