Can I ask why they're doing an MRI? Is it of your abdomen?
As an oncology nurse, it's not common to see MRIs being done (unless they're brain MRI to look for metastasis). I'm surprised they're not doing a pet ct...

i'm not sure. i think to plan surgery. i already did two CT scans...whats a pet ct?
CABunny- yes, i'm home on oral antibiotics and was told to stick to lighter foods.
i'm having good days and bad. i'm very fatigued, probably because I can't eat much. i have great support though. the hardest thing is trying to stay brave for Noah. He knows I have to go back to the hospital eventually and he's not happy that he cant go with me.

Oh... yeah... I don't know anything about surgery stuff!
I'm sure the oncologist will say if you need a pet ct or not - just a specialized kind of ct for cancer.
Anyway... I'm glad you're home with your kiddos. I'm so sorry you're going through this, Joes. Lots of hugs and good thoughts to you
