I actually know two people named Bear (have known throughout my life). I don't think its a great name but I also don't think its as bad as some out there.
Well, bless her heart! (My grandma used to tell me that this is the thing to say when I don't have anything nice to add)
This is great! Gotta love Grandma's wisdom. A perfect comment for this name.
Yep. Too bad Alicia didn't have some of that wisdom while naming her LO.

Huh...so she really is Clueless, hey? I guess it could've been worse..."Bear Blu Clues". I have heard of Bear being a fn before, though I don't know anyone personally, just dogs. Maybe it will be thought of as a nickname? Still better than Moroccan!
So, of course this makes me look up the only Bear I know of -- Bear Grylls. His real name is Edward Michael Grylls. His three sons, though, are named Jesse, Marmaduke and Huckleberry.
You can't make this up!
FWIW, I like Bear as a name. Or, at least I don't hate it. The Cannon twins have it way worse!!

I don't mind the name. It's nms, but it's not horrible. It makes me think of Bear Grylls and he's totally badass.

I thought of Bear Grylls too. Also, Jamie Oliver's son Buddy Bear Maurice. I think Bear (or Blue) could be cute as a nickname but as a given name? Ick.
