Sharp Pains in Boobs?

All day Saturday I started to feel sharp pains coming from the sides of my boobs toward the nipple.  It happened every few hours. Anyone else experience this? I hope its preparing for milk and it doesnt mean they are growing (I'm big enough as it is ha).

IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

    I've had sharp pains like that every once in awhile.  I've just always ignored them since I figured it's just another random pregnancy symptom. 

    In my case I don't think it means they are growing because my boobs haven't grown at all :(

    TTC#5 July 2017 - 3rd cycle TTC = BFP on 11/12/17 at 9dpo Beta #1 = 96 at 13dpo - Beta #2 = 207 at 15dpo
    TTC#1  starting Nov. 2009
    3 rounds of Clomid + TI and 3 rounds of 7.5 mg Femara + IUI before our BFP on 11/8/10 at 12dpiui
    TTC #2 3rd cycle of Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 4 follies = BFP on 10/12/12 
    TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks

    TTC#4 3rd cycle of Metformin + Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 3 follies = BFP on 12/24/16

    I've had random pains like that, and the worst...nipple pain! My nipples will suddenly just get rock hard (doesn't have to be cold or anything), and they will turn purple. They hurt sooooo bad when this happens! I'm guessing all the boob pain is just everything getting ready for milk...

    I get that sharp, shooting pain every now and then.  Around the same time, I noticed the blue veins, which I'd had since the beginning of pregnancy, started becoming more pronounced.  Sometimes I have to catch myself and remember I'm not in the privacy of my own home when I just want to grab my boob because it hurts so bad and is so out of the blue!

    TTC #1 since 7/08 After 3 years, 2 losses, 3 rounds of IUI, and one round of IVF, we finally have our dream come true! DS born 7/30/11

    TTC #2 off and on since 7/12

    Although I am not as far along as you, I get this pain regularly. I refer to it as lightening boob. It sucks! Apparently it doesn't go away since so many that are further along than I are having it too. Oh well.
