To whoever suggested Windex for removing rings...

I tried for 3 days to get my ring off with lotion, soap, olive oil, and holding ice cubes and was starting to get worried about having to cut it off...  tried Windex last night like someone suggested last week and it worked right away!  DH twisted and turned and pulled it off in less than a minute.  It was a little painful going over the most swelled-up parts but it's off!

    Thanks for the advice...Mine has been tight but I havent had to force it off yet. I will keep this in mind if it comes to that!

    This was posted at a perfect time.  My SIL was going to go to the jeweler and have hers cut off tomorrow.  I will tip her off so she cam give it one last ditch effort.  Thanks!

    Same here!  I actually just posted in the Swelling post that I have an irrational fear that I'll wait to long to get my rings off and I won't be able to!  Now that I know this trick hopefully I won't be as anxious!

    It might have been me who suggested it. I'm glad it worked for you too! I really thought I was screwed because I had tried everything else too and it only made my finger more swollen. Windex is really slippery stuff. =)
