Good morning ladies!!

I had a wonderful weekend despite it being mother's day and I am not a mother. After getting back from the casino (and losing) I came home cleaned and cooked dinner for my mom, sister, her husband and kids, sister in law her husband and kids and as awful as I thought it was going to be, it didn't suck as much. Everyone liked my food and they left early because I think they didnt want me to start feeling emotional. I did however avoid Facebook like the plague. So, how did everyone else survive mother's day?

. Thanks. I hate coming to work the first day after a nice vacation. Ugh. I made sausage peppers and onions, eggplant parmasean and salad. It was nice but tiring.

  • I didn't get on FB at all and tried to stay out of heavily populated areas. We did have our waitress wish us happy mother's day at lunch...I thought it was kind of weird considering it was just DH and I. Aside from that, it was an OK day. The beautiful weather here helped make it more bearable!

  • I'm glad to hear that you had such a nice weekend! My weekend was alright...we had ER on Saturday and yesterday went well enough. I spent a little time with my in-laws, but didn't get to see my family because they were going to lunch with a bunch of our other family members and I wasn't feeling up to being out.
