I don't want to pump all day everyday, but would like to have enough to give at least one bottle a day and some extra..I find that i'm only making between 2-3.5 oz, which isn't enough to feed LO. Tips?? DD is 7 weeks old BTW
After your first feeding of the day will give you the most if you're trying to build a stash. It might take a few days to get a bottle made up but thats the easiest way without pumping all day.
I am a SAHM, and with my first child I pumped once per day to build up a stash so I could get out here and there...it was plenty. Now that I'm on my third child, I haven't been able to pump as consistently each morning (usually running out the door for preschool dropoff and then straight to errands, etc), so I just pump a few days a week. I am able to get 5-7 oz in under 10 minutes, so even a few days a week is giving me enough to get out (of course, I get out much less with 3 kids!!).
Anyway, pumping in the morning, after the first feeding, will probably give you the most milk.
I like to keep about 40 oz in the freezer along with 1-2 bottles in the fridge when I have to work overnight twice a week & just started building a couple weeks ago. I get the most in the mornings so I usually feed LO on my left side when she wakes up and then pump the right. LO eats anywhere from 2-6 oz at feedings and I can normally get 6 oz in the morning. I do this maybe 3-4 days/week.

I will be going back to work part time so a couple weeks ago I started making a small stash. I pump about an hour-90 mins after her first feeding in the AM. She STTN so I am alread pretty full when she gets up, so I let my boobs fill a little more after she's done, and pump it all out. Usually I get about 4-5 oz and I will combine it when any small remaining amounts already in the fridge,. I should have enough for about 2 feedings for the days when I am at work.
