Mother's Day...ugh.

Today will, no doubt, be filled with happy pregnant women and mother's being treated like royalty. The worst part is...they'll be EVERYWHERE. There is no avoiding it today.

I hope you all can make the very best of this day! I'm certainly going to try. We're expecting our Fert Report some time today so I'm hoping for good news!

    I hope you get a great fert report! Dh and I aren't planning to go anywhere today, so it should be easy to avoid. We will call our moms later today to wish them Happy Mother's Day though.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    Good luck today hun with your fert report! Hope it's FAB!

    I, unfortunately have to go out later this evening for dinner with my fam. I'm sure I'll run into plenty of prego's/ mom's with lil ones. Lord give me strength to hold it together!

    Dx PCOS 2003/high fasting insulin/clotting issues DH Dx with low sperm count, motility and morphology. Varicocele repair (11/1/2010)
    2/2011 - Confirmed no improvement - On to Donor Sperm
    4 failed IUIs in 2010
    IUI#5 and 6- with DS, BFN
    Final IUI - Lucky #7! IUI with DS - 20.Jun.2011 - 21.5 mil motile! Not so lucky - BFFN and the end of our IF journey....
    Waiting for our family to be complete through Adoption - May 2012 - Hoping our baby finds us soon!

    Hope you get some really positive news today.

    We're leaving later on for a family brunch.  Fortunately there won't be any babies or pregnant woman.  Something to be happy about. 

    I guess my post from the other day was either not read or ignored because there's already an onslaught of "Thinking of You" posts from happy new mothers.  I can't speak for anyone else, but I really don't want to be thought of in that way today.

    TTC since 3-08 IVF # 1 Dec 2011 BFP DD born at 31 weeks 6-24-12

    FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN

    FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN

    No more frosties

    IVF #2. September 2014

    PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

    SET November 9, 2014
    Nov 23, 2014. Another BFN

    Not sure where to go from here.

    Here's hoping for a wonderful fert report to dull the pain of today.  Just stay focused on the gift you WILL have next Mother's Day.  I cannot wait to celebrate your BFP!

    I was just lurking on the m/c and pregnancy loss board and there are random posts from some women (one of whom has never even had a m/c) telling us that "we are all mothers." Um, no I'm not, and I'm not even close to becoming one. WTF, why do people have to post sh^t like that on Mother's Day?
