Woollybottoms longies (upcycled hybrids)

Reviews? Any Leaks? I want a pair but a post earlier today mentioned that interlock is more bulletproof. Am I wrong to take this to mean regular knitted wool is more prone to leaks? My LO is already proving to be a heavy wetter @4.5 weeks her pockets and AIO's need doublers to prevent leaks, and her fab fitteds are entirely soaked in a half hour! The only thing that has enough absorbency as-is are her GMD prefolds! So needless to say, if the hybrids - which are more in line with my budget compared to interlock- won't hold up, I don't want to waste my money! Thanks!!

  • Most of our wool is recycled and we've never had issues with leaks!

  • I love my woollybottom longies and use them for overnight.  I use interlock *(wcw)and them with equal luck .  I've heard the WB footies may not be ideal for night, but don't have personal experience with them.

  • No experience with the longies, but I have knit MS and woollybottoms soakers and I think the outside is just slightly more moist in the morning in my knit than in the woollybottoms soakers. They both work great though and I only use them at night and DD sleeps about 11 hours.

Her sizing runs really big! Just an FYI! (my 2 yr old is still in a medium soaker!)

That reaffirms my decision to go with the small then! My DD was under 7 lbs at birth (1mo check up on Monday) and according to the listed measurements it seems the smalls will be big on her now so they should still fit going into next fall/winter, especially if they run big! Thanks!!
