Depends on the length of your last name.

Both are NMS but are fine names. I would use Trent over Donovan because our last name is 3 syllables and my husband is Troy which I put in the same family of names as Trent!

I'm not really a fan of either but I think both are fine.

I think I'd go with Trent if I had to decide

Donovan. If it were Trenton instead of Trent, I'd have a harder time deciding. I'm Canadian though, so Trenton, NJ isn't an issue for me.

I actually like Trenton, NN Trent, too. And I AM from NJ (& only 15 mins.--but worlds away--from Trenton!). But I don't think I'd name a child that if I was still living there.
