DD will be 11 months in a week and this week there has been a huge drop in her formula intake. At her 9 month appt our pedi said when DD is ready, she will start drinking less and going from 24-30 oz a day to 16-20 oz a day. This week has ranged from 12-16 oz a day, which included using formula to make cereal because DD wouldn't drink much, but would eat the cereal. DD got 4 new teeth in the past 2 weeks and I think maybe that's why she doesn't want to drink much, but I'm wondering if I should worry about the days she only gets 12 oz. Anyone else have a LO that dropped to less than 16 oz at this age? Sorry for the format, on an iPad.
Re: Almost 11 months old and only drinking 12-16 oz of formula
I haven't experienced this, but try to not worry too much. Is she still having enough wet diapers? If so, then she's fine.
I've heard they don't like the bottle when teething because the sucking motion hurts.

This never happened with DS#1. He always drank tons of formula until we switched to regular milk. With DS#2 though, it's been several weeks now that he hasn't had much interest in formula at all. I am lucky if we get 8oz in him!
Just letting you know you're not alone :-)
