Ah 2 under 2....

will take my brain cells from me before this is over.  I feel it in my bones.  DD1 was so easy peasy.  We had no idea and assumed that we were somehow really awesome parents.  Then DD2 came along and showed us that we didn't know a single thing about parenting and just happened to get lucky with #1.  I'm looking forward to that 6 month mark that everyone keeps talking about when it magically gets easier - so you guys better hope it does or there will be some serious straight jacket stuff coming my way!

    im in the same boat....although I think we have a better thing going now that the colic and gas issues seem to be better. Wow is it interesting :)  We will survive!

    Oh crap!  My DS was also such an easy baby and I am afraid that I will have to pay the piper this time around. Fingers crossed though. I sure hope things get better for you soon.

    Same here! I am on the verge of a breakdown most days. Waiting for that magical time when it gets easier...Really hope I make it with sanity intact!

    I thought we were going to get our asses handed to us this time around because DS was an easy baby but DD has been really easy so far, too.  Although toddlerhood alone is enough send me into a straight jacket.  I mean seriously... W. T. F.

    Not to be a downer, but I wouldnt get too excited about 6 months. Owen became mobile at 6 months and that is when it got really hard again. Now that he walking, I am avoiding disaster all day long. It is so hard...although I would take this "hard" over newborn crying and screaming all day hard:)

    Glad to know I'm not alone!!  Although, as much as I'm not looking forward to the mobile stage, I am ready for this girl to want a little independence!

    I was in the same boat as you up until a few weeks ago when DD started crawling and pulling up.  In fact - I posted about it so many times because I was desperate for SOMEONE ANYONE to tell me it was going to get better :)  It does.  I agree w/PP who said it's challenging even once #2 becomes mobile BUT it beats the pants off of the newborn days IMO.  DD was THE WORST newborn.  Colic for 5 1/2 months and now she is sweet as pie.  She gets into things of course but I wouldn't ever want to go back to the "other" days!!  Hang in there Mama.
