BOB Owners--a ?

Should you always lock the swivel wheel when running with the BOB? What is the benefit of locking it? We ran for the first time with our BOB duallie last weekend and forgot to lock it, and didn't have any problems, so I'm curious as to why we should lock it. FWIW, we're pretty slow runners (10+min/mile) and run on sidewalks and running paths where there are sometimes other walkers or runners.

    According to everything I've read, you should always lock the front wheel when running because it provides extra stability and better control of the stroller.

    Yes, you should always lock the front wheel when running. It is much more stable with it locked. If it is in swivel mode you could hit a rock, stick, or crack in the sidewalk and the stroller could veer suddenly, causing it to tip.
