Someone replaced my sweet boy with a holy terror..

SERIOUSLY. I think he has his period.

For the past 2 weeks he just seems off... totally throwing tantrums, flipping out over the smallest things. I know it's the age but it's getting very frustrating. I don't feel like I deal with it the right way all the time. I try to be patient but I sometimes get so irritated I have to walk away. 

The past 3 nights he has refused to go to bed... screaming, crying, yelling for me... it's obnoxious and came out of nowhere. Naps have been okay until today... he's been upstairs for over an hour.... crying the last 20 min. It's on and off and not screaming yet... I KNOW he's exhausted. I went in there when he first started crying and he did have a dirty diaper. Do I not go in there? Go in there? He's throwing his sliky and paci.

I don't know what to do. We did the Sleep Lady Shuffle months ago and worked like a charm... maybe we need to do it again? I'm at my wits end. 

HELP. Advice???

DD has had some off days.  Is he teething at all?  I end up usually putting her to bed earlier thinking I missed the window where she was sleepy and now is just overtired.  She seriously went to bed at 6pm a couple nights last week she was just so tired and slept up until her usual wakeup time.

ETA:  DD had the tantrums too.  I don't know when it started, a few weeks ago maybe?  She has decided that everything must be her way and she will find a way torture us until we give in. I have yet to figure out what to do with this.

It sounds like the start of the twos.  Keep being consistent, he'll come back.

I might go back to your sleep lady shuffle method again.  Also, things that helped us a ton are offering choices (which PJs do you want (offer 2), which book do you want? etc...) as well as telling him things like "after we do ___, we're going to do ___"

The other thing I've done is make up corny songs that have B's name in it for almost every thing I have to get him to do.  He loves them and it seems to help keep things positive.
