Cool toy- good for travel

I bought this for Gavin last week while I was in DC.  My mom actually discovered it and thought he would love it and she was right on the money!  It's a magnet book/board that comes with these little pirate magnets that he can put on and move around.  Keeps him occupied for a long time playing pirates.  They have lots of other scenes too if your kid is not into pirates and they have girly doll ones as well.  They are also nice to have for car trips b/c the pieces stick together.

It looks really cute! How well do the magnets hold? We have a book similar to that and the magnets are too weak for a car ride. We have a long car trip coming up and something like this would be great.

The magnets are kind of weak- I guess so its easier for little kids to pull them off?  But for the most part it has stayed together pretty well.  I have found an occasional pirate laying around the house- but most of the pieces are all right there on the board.
