pooping question...

Hi there.  1st time posting over here...I have a 7 weeker who is primarily breast fed with generally 1 btl. of form supplemented per day who is now only pooping 1x a day and sometimes only 1x every other day.  While she doesn't seem to be in pain from this she is super gassy (and smelly) and I'm wondering of anyone else has experienced this??  I did call the Dr. the first time I noticed she went over 24 hrs. and they said its normal for the change sometimes and recommended doing a rectal temp to stimulate her, but then a nurse told me she could be constipated from the formula so now I don't know what to think--is it normal or not??  TIA...

My Pedi said "7 times a week or 7 times a day is normal" and if they're not in any pain or discomfort then there is no need to worry.

my 8 weeker has only pooped 2x in last 10 days..lots of gas but very happy..its common for ebf to go days

My little one only poops every other day. When I changed her to formula she only went about once a week. The doctor said as long as she goes once a week ands its not hard do not worry!
