"Morning sickness" at 8pm

This question may have been asked already, but I couldnt find anything like it while searching a little bit. I am also a first time user here so I hope I dont make someone mad by posting a common question. I am wondering if anyone out there is feeling "morning" sickness later in the night? I know it can happen all day, but I will go all day feeling great and then like clock work 8pm rolls around and I am not only ready to go to bed, I am also sick as can be, It feels like the flu and lasts until I fall asleep. Im sure its "normal" and its not like I am worried about it, im just wondering if I am the only one :) My friends that have already had kids all look at me like I am crazy when I bring this up. :)

  • No, my sister had all day and night sickness when she was pregnant. I have had some slight nausea this evening but I think it was carsickness :)

  • I had been having all day and night sickness. Never actually vomiting, but just very nauseated. It has been getting better during the days now, but at night it is still the worst. I actually woke up last night at 1:30am and tossed my cookies! Talk about a rude awakening.

  • If you know that you get it at night it may help to eat bland foods in the evening.  So have lunch be your bigger meal and maybe just have some chicken broth and crackers for dinner.

  • With my first pregnancy, I was sick all day, but at 3:00pm everyday it got WAY worse until about 10pm. This worked out well because I was a teacher, and just as I was sending my last class out the door was when it was really, really kicking in.
  • I have day and night sickness. It is just now starting to let up a bit (there are days when I feel better than others) at 15 weeks. Totally normal...my doctor doesn't even call it morning sickness...he calls it pregnancy sickness because it can happen any time of the day.

  • It's totally normal!  I've had evening sickness for both this pregnancy and my last one.  I'm glad about it though, because I wake up feeling just fine, get to work early, get home and eat before I know it's going to hit.  Most of the time DS goes to bed at 7, so he's taken care of before I start feeling bad, around 8 p.m. like you.  When it's really bad, I just go to bed early, and try to sleep through it.
