Am I doing the right thing???

I am 6months pregnant and I recently broke things off with my fiance.

I just felt that he is putting me last in his life and that his friends always come 1st. He has hurt and disappointed me times without number. I gave him an ultimatum, that if he wants me and the baby in his life he will make a way to put us and keep us in his life.

I dont know if i am doing the right thing by not working through our problems, but I have been as patient as anyone can be.... Am i doing the right thing???

Only you can know for sure if you made the right choice, as we don't know all of the details, but is it possible that if he does make changes you would get back together with him? Just stay strong and remember that mommy and daddy together does not make life perfect for baby when the relationship is unhealthy. You can provide a great life for your LO with or without the father around.

I had the same issue with ex-FI...but that's another story.

He now knows that you were serious about needing to be first in his life. Now he needs to SHOW you that he is able to do that. If he can't....are you willing to put you and your child second in his life? Probably not!

We can't tell you if you are or if you aren't.  however, I say if you can walk away right now and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are doing the right thing, then you are.
