Hello! I am a fairly new CDer and I have a question. I was looking around with regards to proper care of the CDs I'm using (BumGenius 4.0s and BumGenius Elementals) and found conflicting information about whether it's safe to dry the covers on lower heat in the dryer or if they need to be line dried. Also, if they need to be line dried, is that how the Elementals should be dried as well? Is there any way for everything to be safely dried in the dryer? I should add that because this is a fairly new thing I only have 13 diapers and so am doing laundry rather frequently. I hope to up my stash soon but diapers are $ and so is everything else these days.
Also, right now we're using a disposable diaper overnight since DD sleeps from 9pm-7am straight and she seems to small to double-line her diapers at this point. When I tried I found that the bulkiness made it so that the diaper wouldn't get tight around her waist. Any other suggestions/ brand suggestions/ type suggestions so that we can eliminate all disposables?
Finally, does anyone have any other suggestions of diapers that we might try in general as we head further down this road? I'm loving CDing and love the ease of the ones we've chosen for now. Thank you!
Thank you!

We have BG 4.0 and 3.0 OS diapers and yeah BG has conflicting info out there due to the velcro primarliy. You can occasionally dry the covers in the dryer on low heat but you dont want to make it a regular thing, usually the part that takes a lot longer to dry in the inserts anyhow so unless they are stained and need sunning you can just dry that part in the dryer and then hang up the cover in a sunny well ventilated spot (or turn on your ceiling fan if you have one) and they should dry quick.
As for other diapers if you are liking your BGs and want to add to your stash cheaply a couple options are out there:
1) Cottonbabies is currently having their buy 5 get one free sale so it's a good time to buy some diapers if you are wanting new unused ones.
2) keep an eye on this board and on diaper swappers for used diaps since you can usually get BGs for right around 10 bucks a piece on here.
3) If you liked the fit of your BG 4.0 check out Kawaii as well. The PUL is a little thicker (at least on the heavy wetters I have) but they have some cute options and they fit (at least in my opinion) almost identically to BGs. They are much cheaper than BGs running right around 7-8 dollars a diaper. We got ours thru luvyourbaby.com and had a good experience, they did take a bit to ship them but everything came as promised and has held up well the last 2 months we have been using them.
