So now that we know we're going, can I pick your brain about stuff to take for the plane? All I can think of right now that doesn't make noise or have a million little parts are books or this stoplight gripper thing that lights up.
What did you take for Margaux?
Re: Amy!
All we had were books and some washable crayons/coloring book. It was a long, long trip. I wish I had more advice...
I thought of "art" stuff like crayons, but I worry that even the washable stuff might make a mess. As long as the flight was, did she at least sit and draw or, er, scribble a bit? Did she color the seat in front of her?
Oh, and speaking of the seat on front of her, did she kick? Mikey loves kicking

How 'bout a travel sized doodler? or is he too young to scribble with the "pen" on the string?
Also don't forget snacks for him...my little one likes cheerios on the go.
Sorry to but in. I'm not sure if you're taking a lap top or DVD player. Leah sat and watched a few episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba on our flight. Only down side was she needed to use headphones. Leah's solution to that was to watch without sound...and have a grand ol' time.
Snacks are great too! She loved eating the stuff we brought and her kids meals from the airline.
He's probably too little for that. And we plan on stuffing his face

OMG, I totally forgot about Leah being a rock star during your move! Maybe he'll sleep the whole way like her
But no, no laptops or other electronic stuff. Hopefully there'll be some good stuff on the in-flight entertainment.
