DD's Xmas shopping is DONE!!!

DH and I had off yesterday for Columbus day but DD's daycare was open -- so of course we sent her so we could enjoy our day off, lol.

We got so much work done around the house (mostly getting the new baby's nursery in order) and we went to Toys R Us and did all of DD's Birthday (12/15) and Xmas shopping!!! I'm so glad to be DONE with it all this early.

We set a price limit and each picked out a few things for her (mostly games and puzzles). Now all we have to do is keep ourselves from buying stuff here and there for the next 9 weeks, lol.

Now if only it were this easy to shop for EVERYONE on our list...

    That's great, I keep telling myself I need to get started but i just can't get motivated to do anything.

    The idea of waiting until December, when I will be 36 weeks pregnant, trying to fight with people over toys, was enough to motivate me to get it done early, hahaha.

    Good for you!  :)  Doesnt it feel good to be done!

    I tried this last year and ended up buying more after I said I was "done"

    The kids ended up with way too much stuff.  So, I let them unwrap it all but put some of it back up for their bdays (in May).  Then they got spoiled by my mom and gma as well.  But we didnt have to do much for bdays since we over did it at Christmas.
