I was so afraid I would do it wrong that I hadn't attempted it yet. Today I took the plunge and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be and she LOVED it. She was so close and snug she went right to sleep. I'm going to get so much more done now!
Ha! I just posted on the AP board about our first moby experience. Elsie loves it too! It was pretty easy to get the hang of, but I've only done the newborn hold so who knows about the other options.
Great job! It really does make life easier. Youtube has a ton of videos on different wraps/carries, so as she gets bigger I would check those out, they are invaluable!

I LOVE the moby!! My sister gave me hers because she hated it, and I just don't get that! (I think she believes it too *hippie* for her)
I used youtube to figure out how to put it on and put her in. I don't care for the cradle hold, but we both really like putting her in facing me. She falls right asleep.

I still have to figure it out. Were you ladies a little afraid the first time you put LO in it? I know I will make sure it's secure, but still!!
I was, but once I got her in it, I realized it was super secure! The one tip I have is to put it MUCH tighter than you think you need to(when you first wrap it ). The first couple times I was afraid it was too tight for her and it ended up stretching and I had to redo it to keep her safe. Now I know to do make it ridiculously tight from the start.

I didn't think I would be all AP about my parenting but I really am. I just associated it with hippies and being over-protective. That's really not what its about at all. For me its just more convenient.
That's great! I've only been able to practice with a doll, but I'm really nervous about putting a newborn in mine for the first time. (I mean, if I did it wrong or something.)
Yay for baby wearing! I am obsessed with my wraps and carriers that I have. I have 3 wovens, a moby and an ergo. I am hinting to DH about getting me another woven for Mother's Day, but I don't know if he is getting it.
