Charlotte Antoinette?

 

The 'otte' and 'ette' endings are a little repetative, but when I say it, I don't hate it together. It's just the way it looks.

I love the name Charlotte and I think I'm sold...if I have a girl! My reasoning for Antoinette is that my grandma's name is Marie Anne and my mother's name is Tamara Annette. I thought Antoinette was a nice way to honor both my mom and grandma.

If you don't like it, any other suggestions on a MN?

I like Charlotte, and I like using family names. I'm not a fan of them together, but the only times when my first & middle names were used together were when I was in trouble.

Pretty. I think the endings sound fine together. I love Antoinette, and though Charlotte is too popular for my taste, it's a lovely name, objectively.

How about Charlotte Antonia?  Still honoring both but the combo sounds better? (We are actually using Antonia as a mn to honor DH's late grandfather Anthony)

For me the Ette Otte endings together are a little harsh..  I like Charlotte Antonia much better

To me they sound great together. I think that their endings are pronounced so differently that they actually work.

Not into the otte-ette.  I LOVE Antoinette though, you really don't hear that one often and it is very pretty.  Charlotte is a bit over used, and that is the only reason I am not a fan.  Other than that, I think the name is pretty as well.  Both of them together don't look or sound great to me.  How about Antonietta?

I love Antoinette, more so than Charlotte. I think the endings are too similar, but then again, who really uses the fn and mn in usual communication. My opinion would be to find a different first name and use Antoinette as mn.

I'm loving Antoinette now and I think I have my husband sold also. Charlotte and Violet are my favorite and only girls names I have picked, so if I can't get over the endings being so similar, I'll be back to the drawing board!
