At what point in your pregnancy...

Did you start feeling uncomfortable?

I think the 2nd tri honeymoon is over as far as energy goes. Literally, I wake up, work, come home, get in the bed. Luckily, I'm a teacher so I only have a few more weeks of school left. My belly feels so heavy. I've gained 20-ish pounds so far, I'm 26 weeks and my fundal height measures 30 weeks. I love feeling my girls move, but someone is either right on my belly button or right on my bladder. When did you start to feel...big? :)

Re: At what point in your pregnancy...

  • I hit a wall at 28 weeks, recovered and then hit another one at 33 weeks recovered again and hit the final wall at 36 weeks. I never recovered after that last one :)

I remember begging my husband to convince my docs it was time to have the babies. I think I threw myself (well, flopped myself) on the bed hysterical claiming " there's no way I can be pregnant for another 12 weeks"

Fortunately, I could keep going and stayed quite uncomfortable for 38.5 weeks :)
  • I think it was 30 weeks for me because I was measuring 40 weeks at that point.

  • I felt good until 3 days before my c/s, so just around 38 weeks.  By that point, I was in so much pelvis/hip pain that I couldn't sleep in any position.  It was the worst part about my pregnancy, by far.

  • I have been feeling great until the last two days.  I'm suddnely overcome with exhaustion and am going to be forcing myself to go to the gym tonight.

I hope I'm like Niki and am able to get past this wall.  Even though I know other  walls are in my future :)

  • I was around 24w-25w.
  • 33 weeks is when it seemed to hit me - it is much harder to move now, my hips hurt so much when I get up from sleeping, but I just keep trying to remind myself that I really want to be able to bring my babies home with me - so just a little longer now.

  • I think I was at 30 weeks. I had very active babies, and by that point, i could feel every single move they made.  I also had horrid heartburn and could barely eat any amount of food at a time, or anything good!  I made it 5 more weeks feeling miserable, and could of longer if my stupid body would've let me!

  • I felt big at 28 weeks but was still functional.

I felt like complete sh!t and was barely functional or mobile from 33 weeks on.

See...I'm thinking this is the boat I'm going to be in. I'm 5'1, and I feel as big around as I am tall. ;)

  • I had a really hard time from 16w to 21w bc of extreme sciatica pain. Now im 25 weeks and im starting to feel a wall. I told me husband "the bricks arrived this weekend." I have a 3yo and my mom thankfully took him tonight so i can sleep in and get some rest tomorrow morning. Hoping that will help me feel better again. Im also 5'1" and my hips, groin KILL if i stand up for too long.
