*REALLY ROUGH DAY AT COURT YESTERDAY*
so yesterday was our contempt hearing... XH filed contempt against me cause I haven't paid on our joint credit card nor joint loan... I lost my job in December and have only had temporary jobs here and there... also filing bankruptcy - almost completed... anyhow his judge asked for me to pay his $1000 fees as well as issue me a jail sentence for not paying... I had no counsel and was completely alone there - I really hope the judge does not send me to jail for this absurd issue 
was hard seeing XH there with his hor too... and no clue who was watching our son since he was supposed to be with XH... anyhow thanks for listening and cross fingers I don't get sent away

Sorry you are having to deal with this. I hope you don't get sent away.
Did the judge say what would happen once you file bankruptcy? Would that take away the jail sentence?
I hope it all works out.

Why don't you have an attorney? Shouldn't you get a public defender if you cannot afford one?
