freestyle battery not charging - anyone else have this problem?

I've had my freestyle plugged in all morning and it keeps flashing "batt" at me.  It still works when it is plugged in.  I tried taking the battery out and wiping down the connections, but it didn't help.  Anyone else have this problem?  Is Medela good about replacing things?

Anytime the battery comes out for any reason, it resets itself and must charge for a full 24 hours before you can use it not plugged in.  I learned this the hard way, when the back of mine came off and the battery somehow must have come off the contacts.

The back came off mine yesterday.  I will try charging it all day and see what happens.  Thanks for the info.

This happened to me. I called the company and they told me that I needed to leave it plugged in, continually for 24 hours.  It reset itself for me and worked fine.

keep running it until it's completely dead then it'll charge. i have that happen everytime i take the batt out

This!  I don't know about you, but I couldn't wait 24 hours.  I ran out the battery, recharged and it was fine.
