I desperately need to paint mine. I actually really like the color, but there's this annoying quote on the wall and still a million holes because the previous owners had a few too many pictures and shelves.
We have a vaulted ceiling and I dread painting it so I've put it off as long as I can. Right now it's a goldish kind of color. IDK if I'll stick with it or not. The kitchen is the same color, but would be easy enough to paint if it would end up not matching. It will be for a living/dining room and hallway.
Re: What color is your living room? PIP if you can
Ugly dirty cream color from the previous owners. I have the paint to make it a nice, pale buttery yellow. I need to brighten the room up since it's dim and snowy so much of the year.
The color is Behr Disney Baby Bee Yellow.

Ours is neutral from when the previous owners painted the whole house the same beige. I know that's better than crazy colors or wallpaper, but it drives me nuts how boring it is. Our living/dining room also has vaulted ceilings, so it's the only room I've left beige b/c I just don't feel like painting it. For that reason, I would choose something that you will not get sick of and that will match everything.
Ours is a light beige color - as is the rest of the main level and basement.
We're boring.
I love it though - I really like the way the whit trim pops against it and we have chocolate furniture, so it's a great contrast.
We have Benjamin Moore masada in the kitchen. In the living room/dining room I think we have this color from SW...if not this one, it's really close to that color. I feel like it's neutralish, but does add some warmth.
We also have the vaulted ceilings and so those rooms were the last to paint too. We ended up hiring someone to paint it.
Mine is a yellow as well, I've had it for years, I'm really ready for something new!
Our is a darker beige-looks lighter in pics..our dining room is burgundy tho so we wanted neutral. Not sure if you can see this pic-excuse the mess-we now have curtains and desperately need new furniture...
Sorry.. I can figure out how to post my pic
Greige.
Interesting- lots of beige and yellow.
Our's is teal! Lol. I can't remember the exact color, but it's pretty
All of our furniture is dark/neutral. We get lots of compliments. Our house is on the market now and we are in the process of picking out colors for our new house. I still like color, but I think I'll find a happy-medium this time so I'm not so locked in.
It's in the background here....
LOVE that!
I love it too! If you remember what it is called, please let me know!
Thanks! I'll see if I can find it... we have a binder somewhere with all of our house "stuff" ha.

Ours is Sherwin Williams Macadamia. It is a warm beige color and I love the way it looks against our woodwork and trim. The entire bottom floor, up the stairway and the upstairs hallway are this color. We get a lot of compliments on it. I couldn't find a good picture of the living room, but below is the kitchen with that color.
DD #2 - 03.13
Our living room is a light grey, and we have an accent wall that is sponge painted (or something like that - I forget the name of the technique) brown.

Here are our colors (best pic I had was at Christmas time). We have 3 red walls and a tan accent wall that the fireplace is on. Red is nice but you have to remember to put a clear coat over it so all the scratches don't show and be able to wash it.

Thank you! Good luck with your remodel!

here's mine, but the paint almost exactly matches the sofa. it went with the other sofa, which i replaced after my dog peed on it. i did't repaint, b/c we're moving this summer. i'll have to find the paint can and tell you what it is. the name "ponytail" is coming mind and whatever it was, it was for sure Sherman Williams
