kamsnaps - any way to attach without snap pliers?

I have 5 Doodle pockets I want to convert to Ai2s... I don't have snap pliers and was hoping to just buy some snaps for the diapers... any suggestions?

 

ETA: any idea what the standard snap size is?

    You really can't do it w/o the pliers or a press.  That said, you can buy the pliers and quickly resell them too.  People are always looking for them.  And size 20 is the standard diaper size.

    Sure, with a snap press. But that's even more expensive. ;)

    I have snap pliers and a bunch of snaps (in pink, orange & dark reddish pink). If you cover shipping, you're welcome to borrow the pliers & ship them back and you can have some snaps for free.

    Hmm - that's an idea jenny1980... I wonder how much shipping would cost... I'm Canadian so that might end up costing me more... Am I crazy for trying to convert pockets into Ai2?  hmm. How much do the pliers weigh?
