late talkers?

My guys are 14 months and dont talk much. They say mama and dada but more babbling, they dont say it directly to us... When do I start to worry?

Mine didn't really have a language explosion until 18ish months. The pedi wanted 5-8 words at 18 months which they had; now at 21 months DD talks constantly. DS is in speech therapy because he hasn't progressed from those 5-8 words. I wouldn't start to worry, at their age they focus on mastering one thing, typically walking. If you are still worried, bring it up at their 15 month appointment and see what your pedi says.
