Sharp pain - should I call my doctor?

My doctor tells me at every appointment not to hesitate to call or come in if anything seems off but maybe I'm overreacting.  I have this sharp pain, not constant but on and off for over an hour, like at the top of my bump.  I think it's above my ute, if I had to guess.  I've had this pain before but it usually goes away after just a few minutes.  Is this the ligament (sp?) pain I've been reading about?  I assumed ligament pain would be down low, like around my hips.  What do you ladies think?

i get a pain right under my boobs - in the middle. It burns but its more the skin then inside. I attribute it to my skin stretching. Could it be heartburn? Id say of your really worried and it hurts id call to be on the safe side. Keep us posted and i hope you feel better!

Yes, it's under my boobs but more to the left side.  It's in the same spot every time I feel it but I'm just concerned now because it's not going away.  It feels like it's under the skin, maybe an organ getting squished?  I don't think it's the skin stretching.

You're only a week ahead of me and I've had a sharp pain in the same area several times now too.  I think its normal - but the OB offices are used to crazy questions - so if you're unsure, I'd call.

I'm several weeks ahead of you, but I feel something similar - like a painful tenderness on my right side at the top of my bump and just under my boob.  I brought it up at my last doc appointment, while he actually had his hand on that spot, and he said it's from the kicking and stretching, and not to worry.

I was having what I call a "rib cramp" right wear my boob meets my chest. I am going to ask my OB about it but from what I was able to find online. The same hormone that makes our hips spread and ligaments loosen makes our ribs spread and with twins it gets even wider and looser with the extra hormones. There are rib compression exercises, because sometimes the ribs wont go back into place.
