How much do they usually shrink after washing? How many washes should be done before using them?

I had the infant size and I think they shrunk about 1-2 inches.  I washed mine 6 times before using.  HTH!

I used Tide Free when I prepped mine.  I don't like the smell of regular Tide, but I know a lot of people use the regular one with no issues.

I used Rockin' Green.

You can also boil them to prep them and then you won't have to wash as many times (I didn't know this when I was prepping mine).
