I've definitely seen Audrey a lot more lately. I have a cousin named Audrey who is almost 40 and until recently, she was the only Audrey I knew. Many people even asked her if she'd been named after Audrey Hepburn since that was the only Audrey they knew of.
My DD1 was born in 2005.....Her name is Emma. I had no clue it was so popular at the time. I was born in 1985....My name is Jennifer, I guess its only appropiate, right? Like mother, like daughter. I feel your pain though, I hated that her name was so popular, but we have moved states several times since her birth and she has yet to be in school with another Emma so Im not sure where all the other ones are hiding. If baby #3 is a girl, her name is going to be Lula....I doubt Ill ever meet another one!

Audrey doesn't seem to be very popular here. It's gorgeous though, I love it.
The "general trend" is moving toward traditional names so we'll probably see them all jump up the scale in the next few years. Who knows, maybe Genevieve will be in the top 10!

It hasn't happened to me yet but it did happen to a friend. She still named the daughter the name she loved and her child is 6 and hasn't had a single duplicate name in her class yet.
I love Audrey. It was on our girl name list. I have honestly never met another Lily. I was surprised to see how popular it is. Still have never met one in real life. So I guess its not so popular around here.
