cat peeing in tub!

Has anyone's cat every peed in their bathtub? ?Our cat has been doing it for a couple weeks now. ?We've tried tinfoil in the tub and he goes on it! ?We don't want to keep the door shut for air circulation purposes. ?The vet suggested that we lock him in the room with the liter box and his food. ?I was just curious if anyone else ever had this problem and if so how you stopped it?? ?Thanks!

My cat peed in the bathroom sink all the time at our old house. I really didn't mind that much since it was easily cleaned up and less litterbox changing. I don't know about your cat, but ours pees a gallon everytime he goes so the litterbox needs changing all the time.

I just let him do it, and he stopped when we moved to a new house. *shrug*

Yuck! I was going to strongly suggest you contact your vet, as cats can change their bathroom behavior when experiencing an illness... buuuuut it sounds like you already did that...

Do you only have one cat? Do you clean the litter box everyday?

Never had that problem but at least it's in the tub and not in the middle of the family room.  Much eaiser to clean up.

We only have the one little cat and DH cleans the liter often. ?It is nice because we don't have to worry about the clean up but at the same time it grosses me out!
